A lineup — or edge up — is the crisp border cut into the hairline, temples and neckline. It is the detail people notice first, and it is the fastest way to make a two-week-old haircut look fresh again.
We cut lineups to your natural hairline. Pushing the line forward looks sharp for a week and awkward for the next month, and we will tell you when a request will not grow out well.

What a lineup includes
The frontal hairline, both temples, around the ears and the neckline — squared, rounded or tapered depending on your preference and how your hair grows. We use a trimmer for the shape and a razor or foil shaver where you want a harder edge.
Between full haircuts
Booking a standalone lineup roughly halfway between haircuts is how a lot of our clients stretch a fade from two weeks to four while still looking sharp for work or an event. It takes about fifteen minutes.
Hair designs
If you want more than a clean edge, freehand hair designs are cut into the fade by hand with a trimmer — geometric lines, curves or custom detail. Bring a reference photo and your barber will adapt it to your head shape and hair density.

Can I get just a lineup without a haircut?
Yes. A standalone edge up is a quick service and a common mid-cycle booking between full haircuts.
Will a lineup damage my hairline?
Not when it follows your natural growth. Repeatedly cutting the line further forward is what causes problems over time, which is why we cut to the hairline you have.
Do you take walk-ins for lineups?
Yes, whenever a chair is free. It is a short service, so walk-in odds are good outside Saturday peaks.
